Yes, I offer in-person sessions and encourage them whenever possible. The Barn at Southport Hills was intentionally designed to be part of the therapeutic experience, providing a warm, peaceful environment that supports reflection, healing, and growth. Every detail of the space was thoughtfully chosen to complement the meaningful work taking place and to create a setting that feels both welcoming and grounding.

The Barn at Southport Hills is an out-of-network, private-pay practice. Choosing not to participate directly with insurance companies allows me to provide personalized care based on your needs rather than insurance requirements, while also offering greater privacy and flexibility in treatment. For clients with out-of-network benefits, a superbill can be provided for submission to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of therapy services. Federal law requires healthcare providers to provide this estimate to clients who are not using insurance. The estimate helps you understand the potential costs of treatment so you can make informed decisions about your care.

My philosophy is therapy should empower you, not create dependency. The goal is to help you build a strong emotional toolbox—developing insight, coping skills, resilience, and confidence so you can navigate life's challenges independently. While there are times when ongoing therapy may be beneficial, I generally believe that the measure of successful therapy is not how long you stay in it, but how equipped you feel to manage everyday difficulties on your own.
We will regularly review your progress and work together to determine the level of support that best serves your needs.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Clients are financially responsible for all scheduled sessions, including missed appointments and late cancellations.
If you are unable to attend a session, I may be able to offer an alternative appointment within 7 days of your original session if availability permits. However, rescheduling is not guaranteed, and the original appointment fee still applies.
If I need to cancel a session, you will never be charged and will receive as much advance notice as possible.

Absolutely. Creating a safe and trusting space is a priority, and what you share in therapy remains confidential except in rare situations involving safety concerns or legal obligations.
